Sadly, it's the last day of The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park. But you can keep in touch with all your favorite shops online. Check out their websites listed on the blog and the venue guide (hover over the name and click). Some shops have online stores and show where they'll be appearing in 2008.
Meanwhile, we'll be missing all the shops, like splash!organics (where one devoted customer visited during an awful rain storm to stock up on her yearly supply and extol the virtues of splash's soaps), lina's shop and her beautiful, delicate jewelry and Asian jackets, and Home Fields' 3-D replica stadiums, the perfect gift for a devoted sports fan's desk. And we can't wait to see Parable Ink, James Young, pip-squeak chapeau, Indonesia Beautiful, Metal Park, and all the rest again next holiday season. Happy New Year!

Opening Day
Tomorrow is Day One for The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park. Here they are being built in the park:
Wow, hanging from the ceiling and all. Late at night all week long, these guys were working to bring us fabulous holiday shopping.

Let me tempt you with a few previews. Get your pretty, modern jewelry at The Firehouse Studio from the personable guys who design the pieces.
And check out these great original T-shirts from Parable Ink.
Their lovely and innovative shop
display is inspired by the New York Public Library, and the shirts each have their own story. I love the V-neck style. Buy one for a bookish buddy, or someone who could use a little literary inspiration.

Luscious Paper has gorgeous handbound leather journals and sketchbooks (below). Need something for the guy who has it all? He'll be impressed by these.
Return to our blog this weekend and every day till the end of December for more info & pricing on these shops and all the rest. Hours tomorrow are 10am - 9pm.
